The new guy was a kid, just barely eighteen, but he was built like a pro football player. He had broad shoulders and shaggy blond hair, with a big goofy grin. He wore a baseball cap backwards and sagging jeans like a thug, though you could tell that was just an affectation. He had an awkward way of walking, like he wasn’t really used to being such a big guy.
He had shaggy blondish-brown hair, scraggly beard-hairs patching his chin with fuzz and a big round face. He was more than six and a half feet tall, so he towered over Teddy (and the hot chick whose ass he checked out). He had been a high school quarterback but was now just a bit out of shape — the perfect amount, as far as Teddy was concerned. He didn’t quite fit in his Sageway polo shirt, which was wrinkled and partially untucked. His nametag read Malik today, but Teddy assumed that was some sort of joke or accident or prank, he knew the clerk’s name was Jimmy.
