Standing there, glowering in the doorway to Room 16, was Nutter, a tall, broad-shouldered black man with a barrel chest and a cocky grin on his face. He wore a powder-blue baseball cap backwards, and a large crucifix was tattooed running up his sternum to his neck. He had dark brown skin that was smooth and creamy.

His smooth baritone made Rob blush. He quickly hurried to the end of the corridor to see the others — that just seemed polite, after all, they had come all the way here — but he knew what he wanted. That man in the fifth cell was tall and broad-shouldered, with a powerhouse physique, dripping with muscle and meat. His skin was camel brown and moisturized like a warrior, smooth and glistening, you could tell the sweat would gleam on him. Looked like he scrubbed up though, he was clean and smelled like industrial soap. He didn’t have a six-pack, just a tiny belly, barely enough to grab on to, but that was the perfect size for Rob. There was a crucifix tattooed over his sternum and a gun on each bicep. Nutter had a broad back, pocked with a few scars and marks, plus some dark blue prison tats that Rob couldn’t quite make out (some kind of writing, he thought, possibly Hebrew, like an Old Testament verse).
